Website Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
This Website Privacy Policy explains how K Ventures LLC d/b/a Taco ("Taco," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when individuals visit https://taco.co, submit an inquiry, schedule a meeting, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with the website (collectively, the "Website").
This policy applies to information collected through the Website and related lead-generation activities. It does not govern personal information that Taco processes on behalf of a client while providing SEO, analytics, content, AI-search visibility, or related services. Client data is governed by the applicable client agreement, statement of work, and any data-processing terms.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
Contact and professional information, such as your name, business email address, telephone number, company, job title, and other information you include in a contact form.
Meeting and scheduling information, such as your availability, time zone, meeting details, and information submitted through Calendly.
Newsletter information, such as your email address, subscription preferences, and engagement with emails sent through beehiiv.
Communications, including messages, requests, feedback, and other information you provide to us.
Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, visit dates and times, approximate location, and interactions with the Website.
Online identifiers and lead-intelligence information. Through Instantly and similar business-to-business analytics or enrichment technology, we may receive cookie identifiers, visit activity, and, where available, business or professional information associated with a visitor or the visitor's organization.
Information from publicly available and third-party sources, such as business websites, professional profiles, lead-intelligence providers, and other lawful sources.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential client information, account credentials, or other information that is unnecessary for your inquiry through the Website.
2. How We Collect Information
We collect information directly from you when you complete a form, schedule a meeting, subscribe to the newsletter, or communicate with us. We also collect information automatically through cookies, pixels, local-storage technologies, scripts, server logs, and similar technologies. We may receive information from service providers and public or commercial business-information sources.
3. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
Respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, and communicate with prospective and existing clients.
Provide newsletters and other communications you request, and manage subscription preferences.
Understand Website use, measure engagement, improve the Website, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Identify and evaluate prospective business relationships and conduct business-to-business marketing and outreach, subject to applicable law.
Protect the Website, Taco, and others; detect misuse, fraud, or security incidents; and enforce our terms.
Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims, and complete business transactions.
Create aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
4. Cookies and Visitor Identification
The Website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for site functionality or that support analytics, lead intelligence, and newsletter or scheduling features. In particular, Taco uses Instantly to analyze Website visits and, where available, connect visit activity with business or professional information for lead-generation purposes.
You can control cookies through your browser and the consent-management tool made available on the Website. The Website will request affirmative consent before activating Instantly's visitor-identification technology. You may reject that technology or later withdraw consent through the available cookie controls. Blocking certain technologies may affect Website functionality. You may also contact us to request that we delete or suppress visitor-profile information associated with you, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification.
Some browsers transmit Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because industry responses to Do Not Track signals are not uniform, the Website may not respond to those signals. We will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals to the extent required by applicable law.
5. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
Service providers that host or operate the Website, store form submissions, provide analytics or lead intelligence, manage scheduling, deliver newsletters, support communications, or provide security and professional services. These providers include Framer, Google Workspace, Calendly, beehiiv, and Instantly.
Taco personnel and contractors who need the information for the purposes described in this policy.
Government authorities, courts, litigants, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.
A buyer, investor, lender, adviser, or successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
Other recipients at your direction or with your consent.
Taco does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not use conventional advertising pixels for cross-context behavioral advertising. Some state privacy laws define a sale or sharing broadly enough that disclosure to, or enrichment by, a lead-intelligence provider may qualify even when no money is exchanged. Where an applicable law treats Taco's use of lead-intelligence technology as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may opt out through the Website's cookie controls or by contacting us. We may otherwise disclose information to vendors that process it for the business purposes described above.
6. Email Communications
If you subscribe to the Taco newsletter or otherwise request marketing communications, we may send you emails about Taco's services and content. You may unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us. We may continue to send non-marketing communications relating to an inquiry, meeting, contract, or other business relationship.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to manage prospective and existing business relationships, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, and legal or operational requirements. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for longer periods.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No security measure or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, or to opt out of marketing communications, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on your state of residence and whether the applicable law covers Taco and the information at issue, you may have additional rights, including the right to obtain a copy of personal information, appeal a denied request, or opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling activities.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request when permitted by law, including when an exception applies or we cannot reasonably verify the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification of the agent's authority and your identity.
10. United States Processing
Taco operates in the United States and intends the Website for a United States audience. Personal information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other locations where our service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
11. Children
The Website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to anyone under 18. Taco does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Website. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
12. Third Party Services and Links
The Website may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Calendly and beehiiv. Those providers may collect information under their own privacy notices. Taco does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties operating under their own policies.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on the Website with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the Website or another appropriate method when required by law.
